I’m not sure if Aqua is actually in the blue family or not (not a color specialist)…regardless I’m crazy about AQUA these days and think it looks so killer with navy and other shades of blue ….These are some of my favorites!

THE SURF LODGE (Montauk, NY) is the chicest little surf oasis on the east coast…don’t you think?!?! Obsessed with the surfer-rustic feel and all the unique, laid-back, driftwoody elements. Feels like home to me:) Love it and all! Dying to go…who’s coming with?!?!?!
ROADTRIP! Headed south this weekend to do a little golf watching at the McGladrey Classic at Sea Island. Doesn’t get much prettier than The Lodge at Sea Island in the Fall! I hope everyone can get outdoors and enjoy the fresh fall air with some friends and fam this weekend. Have Fun!

SCOUTING SOURCE FAVORITE: Recently, I’ve been a little obsessed with the Urban Outfitters “APARTMENT” section. The mid-century furniture, lighting, rugs, art…all great. It’s a little out of control! The prices are amaze and if I’m looking for unexpected, eclectic and interesting, it’s usually where I go. These are some of my current favorites.
One of my most favorite things is this piece of needlepoint my grandmother Nonnie gave me. She has always been an avid needlepointer (is that even a word?) and I’ve always been in awe of her talent. She gave me this piece sometime last year and I am constantly admiring the vivid colors and classic pattern.
The pattern itself was designed after the classic Mottahedeh Tobacco Leaf design (arrow pointing to it in the picture). The Tobacco Leaf pattern is just so southern and traditional yet it has such great pops of color and kinda feels funky and fresh…just love it!
All who know me well know that I adore my Nonnie and will understand why this holds a special place in the heart! ..sorry so sappy:)
I’m getting ready to have it made into a pillow…I’ll be sure to show you how it turns out.
