For over a decade, Ruth Campbell has infused her style into homes, offices and magazine spreads. Inspired by designers such as Celerie Kemble, Miles Redd, Ruthie Sommers, Tom Delavan and India Hicks, Ruth is a flea market maven and thrift store junkie. Her ability to rework discarded rubbish into glamorous pieces is unparalleled, and she always breaks the rules. Encouraging clients to take risks is one of her favorite perks of the job.

Ruth broke into the design industry early when she joined Janie Molster of Janie Molster Designs fresh out of college. Eventually finding her way to New York,

she honed her styling chops in the shadow of Condé Nast market editors at Domino Magazine. Her designs were further brought to life on the showroom floor of Celadon Home, where Ruth kept the floor freshly styled as Visual Merchandiser.

Encouraged by friends and family, she opened Ruth Campbell Interior Styling, LLC in 2014. It had been a dream to open her own firm, and she now enjoys bringing her clients’ visions to life. Ruth has always drawn inspiration from her surroundings, from New York City to Sullivan’s Island, resulting in a mix of sleek urban elements with an easy coastal flair.  She currently lives in Charleston, SC with her husband, two children and black lab Libbie.
